In collaboration with the owner of the Nitty Gritty (an undergraduate alumnus of the department) and a key contact on ICU nursing staff at each of our four local hospitals (UW, VA, Meriter, St. Mary's) -- the Department of Psychology is supporting the hospitals' frontline staff who are bearing the brunt of this pandemic.

Below is a running list of deliveries:

01/04/22: VA Hospital (35 boxed lunches)
       *"Last year around this time we were heroes, but this time around not so much..." [poignant quote, interjected during effusive thanks from contact at VA]

01/11/22: UW Hospital ICU morning shift change (40 meals) and evening shift change (40 meals) 
        *"Lunch was a hit!! Everyone was so grateful and happy!!"
